Let's be honest - the main driving force for staying at a Motel 6 is the low cost. The rates here were half or less than many other hotels in the area. If I wanted a luxury stay, I would have to pay far more, and expect far more. Given that this is a bargain motel, I thought everything was just fine. The room was cleaned daily, towels, soap, and shampoo were replaced regularly, beds made, etc. The room was large enough, with a spacious bathroom (we were in an ADA room), a mini-fridge, TV with remote, etc. We did not use the pool or laundry, but they were available, and the location was a moderate, comfortable walk to downtown shops , restaurants, and beach. I will also mention here that the motel seemed to be understaffed, which led to some longer lines and wait times. However, this is the way things are in the US right now in all hospitality from hotels to restaurants, so I do not fault them for this. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and pleasant even though they were stressed out.

The spotlessly clean, attractive and comfortable room, heated to the perfect temperature for the current climate. Room housekeeping service with fresh, clean towels, room cleaning daily and fresh sheets supplied perhaps before need. Even the landscaping was perfectly maintained. I thought this motel several notches up from the general Motel6 reputations.
